Clinical-Psychological Treatment

Clinical-psychological treatment is the professional support of people coping with mental disorders or states of suffering that are based on emotional, social and physical stress, by a clinical psychologist. This kind of support aims to alleviate or eliminate mental disorders, to minimize the suffering of the affected people and to improve their quality of life.

Clinical psychologists do not focus on a specific model or method of psychology, but more often combine a variety of approaches, the effectiveness of which has been scientifically proven.

After a diligent diagnostic process, I develop treatment plans which are tailored to the particular individual and the psychological disorder that I work with. The contents of these plans are based on several psychological approaches, offering a comprehensive treatment of the mental disorder.

Another main focus of my support is given to the work with the existing resources of the patient and to methods that improve positive self-awareness. Last but not lest, various techniques should serve to learn how to better cope with stress and crises, to improve the quality of life and to minimize the risk of relapses.
