Stress Management Training

According to the World Health Organization, stress is one of the greatest health threats of the 21st century. In German-speaking countries, 80% of the population experience stress at least from time to time, of which a third even experience frequent or permanent overload and do not have sufficient coping

strategies (FAZ Institute and Techniker Krankenkassen, 2009; Grebner, Berlowitz, Alvarado & Cassina, 2011).

This overload and difficulty to cope with stress are among the most important risk factors for the development and continuity of mental, psychosomatic and somatic diseases. Studies show us an increased sick leave due to burnout or other psychological problems (Heinrich, Stächele & Domes).
